How We Met Our story began in the fall of 2016 at a tattoo shop. Kisha, was looking to honor her late brother with a special tattoo, and fate led me to Delemen, an incredibly talented artist. That moment turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. We had an instant connection—emotional, deep, and undeniable. We exchanged contact information and stayed in touch for months, building a bond that would eventually bring us back together. Our First Impressions It was truly love at first sight. Butterflies filled the air as we looked at each other, and it became clear that this was something special. From that moment, we both knew our lives were about to change forever. Our First Date Our first date was casual but meaningful—we went to the Beverage Barn and spent the day talking. It felt so natural as we got to know each other better and discovered how much we had in common. After that date, I couldn't shake the butterflies. Partly from nerves—it had been a while since I’d been on a date—but mostly because I felt something unique and profound. I knew I wanted Delemen to be in my life for the long term. Our Journey Together It didn’t take long for us to realize that we wanted to build a life together. In 2016, we decided to move in as a couple. Just a year later, in October of 2017, we were blessed with the birth of our beautiful daughter, London Rays which we adore. Our love and commitment to each other has grown stronger with every passing year. The Proposal Delemen proposed during a Fourth of July barbecue in our backyard. Surrounded by family, laughter, and fireworks, he got down on one knee and asked me, to spend forever with him. Tears of joy ran down my face as I said yes to the man I knew I wanted to grow old with. What We Love About Each Other One of the things that keeps us connected is our shared values. We have similar goals and both cherish family, food, and time together. Our faith in God plays a central role in our lives and strengthens our relationship every day. Delemen is compassionate, supportive, and kind—qualities I admire deeply. Adventures and Dreams We love traveling and exploring the world together. Some of our favorite adventures have taken us to Tennessee, Colorado, and even Mexico. In the future, we dream of traveling more, starting a business together, and eventually settling on a farm where we can tend to gardens, raise livestock, and enjoy the company of our grandchildren. Family Ties Family has always been at the heart of our lives. Over the years, our families have met during gatherings and celebrations, and they immediately formed loving bonds. Watching our families grow close has been one of the greatest joys of our journey. Looking Ahead to Our Future As we step into this new chapter, we’re excited to see what the future holds. We can't wait to celebrate our love with all of you on March 15, 2025. Together, we plan to support each other, continue to build a life full of love and compassion, and create a legacy of faith, family, and shared dreams.
