Travel Note
We have arranged for a group discount code through Shepler's Mackinac Ferry, which offers departures from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace. Complimentary day parking and paid overnight parking options are available at both locations. Please use "tietheknot2026" group discount when booking tickets. Please note an additional fee is required if you bring you bikes. See website below for more information. Please plan to arrive at Shepler’s an hour prior to your expected ferry departure to account for check-in, bag drop off, and parking. Parking options are on-site ($75 per night) and off-site ($25 per night) with shuttle. Shepler’s will provide delivery of your luggage from the ferry dock to Mission Point. They will provide luggage tags at the ferry dock and deliver the luggage to your room. Luggage tags will be required to provide the bell hand upon check-in at the resort.

Horse-drawn taxi cabs are available 24 hours daily, please call (906) 847-3323 to request a taxi service. Most taxi services only accept cash. Please see rates on the link below. Taxis can also be requested from hotel or downtown as needed. Mission Point also has specific horse taxis for the resort. These can be located on Main Street and flagged down as needed, cash only. Mission Point taxis leave the resort and main street on the half hour typically. Cash only.

We encourage you to bring you bikes and explore the island. Please note there is an additional fee through Shepler's bring your bike on the ferry to the island. Another option is to rent bikes when you get the island. There are numerous bike rental options as well! We are able to offer a discounted rate at ________.
