Which Hotsson hotel location should I stay at?

Answer

Well, The HS HOTSSON HOTEL TAMPICO is closer to the church, has a very nice pool and is next to one of the best restaurants in Tampico, El Asador Terraza. However the HS HOTSSON SMART TAMPICO is in the historical downtown district and is the next block over from the Casino where the reception will be held. Mexican weddings go on very late into the night/next morning. If you know you want to party hard and late, we recommend staying at the downtown location. If you plan to get into town a few days prior to the wedding, you can also book one location and then book/move to the other location. Randy and I will be spending our wedding night at the downtown location. We wanted to leave the option open to our guests. #chooseyourownadventure

Do they speak English in Tampico?

Answer

Hmm, it's a toss up. The airport and hotel staff speak English and most of our wedding party is bilingual (get to know their names and faces) with the exception of the Matron and Maid of Honor. We recommend downloading the "Duolingo" app to learn the basics while making it fun.

What is the bride's 'something blue' feature?

Answer

My father always wore really loud colors, patterns, and prints and was obsessed with lululemon. I cut a piece of cloth from his favorite blue patterned lululemon shorts in the shape of a heart and have had it sewn into the inside of my dress - to have him close to my heart on this very special day.
