The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on site at the Flyway Lodge.
Casual/Festive- Ladies where anything you want to twirl around and dance in, the more fun the better. No need for a tux, the guys will be in suits with tie and jacket (but we know that won't last long after the ceremony). Crossing our fingers for beautiful September weather! Our venue is right on the Currituck Sound, so I recommend bringing a jacket/sweater for later on in the evening. Excluding the dance floor, the reception and ceremony will take place on the grass. Please be mindful when picking shoes!
Our ceremony and reception will be all outdoor. Also keep in mind majority of the wedding will be in the grass- I don't want to ruin anyones shoes! We will have a tent during the reception.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
You know we love all the little ones! Unfortunately, due to space we have to keep our wedding adults only with the exception of immediate family.
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like!
