House Or Rental
Airbnb is also an affordable and convenient option. For rental locations, we recommend looking near our church (Sellwood neighborhood) or reception (Woodlawn neighborhood), airport, waterfront, or convention center for maximum accessibility and convenience.
Rental Car
We recommend Turo car sharing for affordable rental options. Many cars are available directly at the airport. If you prefer to work with a traditional rental company, Enterprise and Hertz have locations at the airport too.
Flight
PDX is our recommended airport for out-of-town guests. It's recently remodeled and has tons of great features.
Travel Note
If you are coming from out of town and have some time to spare, we highly recommend you visit the surrounding areas of Portland. We have three specific recommendations that we love because they are so beautiful. First, take a trip to the Oregon coast! The stunning scenery and delicious food options make this excursion well worth 90 minutes in the car. We took our engagement photos here! If you're looking for something closer to Portland, check out the Columbia River Gorge. Only 30 minutes from the airport, you will find Multnomah Falls and the Crown Point Vista House. Beyond these two landmarks, there are hikes, waterfalls, and pitstops suited to all travelers. Third, escape the summer heat with a quick drive (1 hour) to Mt. Hood's Trillium Lake. This location is a childhood favorite of Delaney and her Maid of Honor Tessa! Make sure to check out the blueberry and lavender farms on your way through Hood River.
