The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation (The Hank if you are in the know) is a wonderful place to spend a day for those interested in the history of innovation and technology in Detroit and across the country. Next door is Greenfield Village, an outdoor history experience where you can visit Thomas Edison's Workshop, the Wright Brother's Bicycle Shop, and ride in a restored Model-T.
An open-air market for produce, food, clothes, etc. open every Saturday in Detroit from 6 AM to 4 PM. The area surrounding the market is home to the Eastern Market Brewery, Detroit Distillery, and many wonderful restaurants.
One of Delaney's favorite museums! The Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) is located in downtown Detroit and has one of the best art collections in the country.
