Things To Do

North Alabama is a beautiful area, and we hope you get to take in some of the scenery when you come to visit us!

Lake Guntersville State Park

1155 Lodge Drive, Guntersville, AL 35976
, (256) 571-5440

Alabama has a great network of State Parks, and Lake Guntersville SP is no exception! Many miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, boat rentals and access to the lake for fishing, and even prime birdwatching for bald eagles or ziplining!

Downtown Guntersville Historic District

Guntersville, AL

Gunterville is a cute city directly overlooking Lake Guntersville (a reservoir on the Tennessee River), and the historic downtown area has a number of shops, restaurants, and historic buildings that make it worth walking through and taking in!

High Falls Park

969 County Road 144, Grove Oak, AL 35975
, (256) 659-4683

This waterfall is actually where our venue gets its name! Burns Bluff overlooks the canyon that Town Creek flows through, and just upstream of the venue, the creek cascades over a 35-foot waterfall before flowing under one of the country's few natural bridges! There are several pedestrian trails leading up to the falls.

Jules J Berta Vineyards

1409 Darden Avenue, Albertville, AL 35951
, (256) 891-5115

Alabama's Winery of the Year offers many great wines for tasting along with beautiful views.

Cathedral Caverns State Park

637 Cave Road, Woodville, AL 35776
, (256) 728-8193

Another one of Alabama's great State Parks, Cathedral Caverns offers a wonderful cave network full of beautiful features like stalagmites, a "frozen waterfall", and even hiking trails. Nick and I came here recently and it was SO beautiful and impressive.

Noccalula Falls Park & Campground

1500 Noccalula Road, Gadsden, AL 35904
, (256) 549-4663

Just a ways away in Gadsden, Noccalula Falls is a stunning 90-foot waterfall with an awesome network of attractions nearby. There's a series of trails leading along the Black Creek to the base of the falls, as well as a petting zoo, rock garden, and historic buildings.

Alabama Fan Club And Museum

101 Glenn Boulevard Southwest, Fort Payne, AL 35967
, (256) 845-1646

A big fan of the band, Alabama? Stop by the museum in Fort Payne on your way in and take a picture with their statues in town!

Little River Canyon National Preserve

4322 Little River Trail, Fort Payne, AL 35967
, (256) 845-9605

Another beautiful waterfall in the area, with parking right nearby and a short trail to see the overlook and the falls!

Crawmama's

5002 Webb Villa, Guntersville, AL 35976

If you want an authentic Southern crawdad boil to complete your visit, look no further than Crawmama's.

Cafe 336

336 Gunter Avenue, Guntersville, AL 35976
, (256) 486-3844

If you're looking for a quick lunch spot, Cafe 336 has several wonderful soups, sandwiches, and bakery items and is in Downtown Guntersville, sharing space with several other small businesses.

Rock House Eatery

1201 Gunter Avenue, Guntersville, AL 35976
, (256) 505-4699

Another highly recommended restaurant in Guntersville, specializing in lunch and dinner menus. Delaney and her family came here and thoroughly enjoyed the modern takes on classic dishes (and specialty Bloody Marys)

Old Town Stock House

410 Old Town Street, Guntersville, AL 35976
, (256) 582-1676

Looking for a nice dinner? Old Town Stock House also comes highly recommended, especially for high-end steaks!

For all the days along the way
