We know it's a little out of the way, but we promise it's worth it! The venue is technically in the small city of Albertville, AL, but don't be misled -- it's very much out in the unincorporated areas of Marshall county. You can't get views like this in the middle of town! That means to be prepared for windy, two-lane roads, small unincorporated towns, and the occasional tractor or car-chasing dog. Putting 1262 High Falls Road (or even the venue name of Burns Bluff Weddings) should take you straight to the venue! There will also be small brown signs at most major turns and intersections, so follow those! When you turn onto High Falls Road, don't be alarmed! It's not state maintained, but the neighborhood takes care of it and you are on the right track when you run out of pavement! Just keep following the signs :)
Alabama weather is notoriously unpredictable! Average temperatures in November are ~70 degrees during the day and ~40 at night (we’ll be in the mountains), so just be ready for anything! It could be comfortable, a heat wave, or a rare cold snap!
Semi-formal! The ceremony is open air and there are gravel paths and grassy areas around, so just dress so that you can party with us! We would recommend that anyone wearing heels wear wedges or something similar that won't sink into the grass or give you much trouble
We are asking for this to remain an adults-only event. The venue is on a bluff with wooden fences, so as much as we love them, for safety reasons, we ask that the kids stay at home! Thank you for understanding!
The ceremony will be in a covered pavilion outdoors, but it has some climate control capabilities! If we have a hot day, they can turn on the big overhead fans, and if it's especially cold, they can turn on the heaters! The reception will be indoors, but there are some open-air outdoor areas you can also spend time! There will be fire-pits available, as well as several patio tables where you can get some fresh air!
Our venue is strictly pet-free (unfortunately, even service animals are not allowed), so pets also need to stay at home! If you need accommodations, please reach out and we will work with you!
