We're getting married!

We met in March 2019 when Delaney was working the front desk at Goodlife Fitness. Miro began coming to the gym in the Terwillegar neighborhood instead of the one close to his house because one of his friends wanted to check out the newer location. He kept making eyes at the nice lady (Delaney) checking them in at the desk every afternoon and wishing them to "have a nice workout!". After a few days of ogling, Miro summoned the courage to talk to Delaney at the front desk. He had been struggling to open his gym lock and asked her if he could borrow one from the desk. She gave him a key lock and suggested that he write his lock combination on the inside tongue of his gym shoes so he'd never forget it again. After a few minutes of chatting, he told her "Hey, you seem like a really cool girl, would you want to meet for coffee sometime?". She replied, "I'm sorry, I'm actually seeing someone right now, but I'll let you know if it doesn't work out.". A few days passed and Delaney could not stop thinking about Miro. She decided she wasn't very invested in the other person she had been seeing. After all, they had only been on a few dates and they didn't seem to have that strong of a connection. All week, Delaney tried to find a good time to talk to Miro. But every time she tried to chat, her manager and many co-workers were at the desk too. By the end of the week, all her attempts had been fruitless. There was only one thing left to do. She creeped him on Facebook, and casually 'slid into his DM's' asking if he was still interested in meeting for coffee. He immediately replied "Yes! How's tonight?", but she turned him down as she was leaving for vacation for a week early that following morning. We agreed we'd meet the day after she returned home. We messaged the whole time she was on holiday, but when Delaney got home she brought with her a horrible cold. She came up to the desk at work after putting some towels in the wash and her co-worker told her that a member had left her a peppermint tea. She looked up and Miro was waving at her from the Stairmaster. She was so touched he thought of her and brought a hot drink for her cold. After work, she met him at Starbucks across the street. We talked for what seemed like hours. Miro walked Delaney to her car and invited her for dinner the next night. We continued to go on dates after that, moved in together that same year (or as Miro likes to put it, moved in on the third date), and in 2023 bought a house together. In October 2024 we got engaged, and now here we are 6 years later...getting hitched in August 2025!
