Jerica and I met playing the clarinet in sixth grade band class. A friendship blossomed and withstood Jerica’s move to Michigan the summer before freshman year. In the years since, we have kept in close contact and get together any chance we get! Jerica was my confidant as I got ready for my first date with Nick and the person I called immediately on my way home!
Brittany Cox

Brittany and I met in Mrs. Gottschalk's kindergarten back in 1999. Despite not being in school together after second grade, we maintained a friendship thanks to our moms commuting for us to have play dates. In the years since we’ve gone to Las Vegas together twice, attended three concerts together, and *almost* made it onto the show Beat Shazam together! Being friends for the majority of our lives has given us a unique opportunity to watch each other grow into the people we are today!
Erika Driscoll

Erika and I met in a sixth grade theatre class. Bearing a similar sense of humor, we always crack each other up when we’re together. We have alot of inside jokes over the course of our 20 year friendship. Erika has been a consistent source of support for me. She is also a fun and adventurous person and helps keep life exciting!
Carolyn Long

Carolyn and I met in middle school, despite briefly attending the same elementary school. Over the years we became travel buddies venturing to Greece, Miami, and the Bahamas together! Carolyn is partly to thank for Nick and I meeting as I was encouraged to download Hinge at a Christmas party Carolyn threw in 2018.

Kelsey is my soon to be sister in law! She has helped welcome me into the Mims family. We bonded over a mutual love of 90s/2000s R&B, wine, and of course her baby brother, Nick!

Lora and I met when Lora started dating my brother Jordon way back in 2008. Despite being in my angsty teen era at the time, I was excited to finally have a girl in the family! Lora has graciously taken me under her wing and has been a great sister figure for me!
Brittany DeLano

Brittany is my future sister in law! We met in 2014 at Brian’s college graduation party and have been buds ever since. As the two shy people in the family, we naturally gravitated toward each other. Excited to have Brittany officially join the family!
Adam Mims

Adam is my older brother. Despite our sibling rivalry I always looked up to him. He always beat on me playing basketball in the basement or soccer in the backyard, toughening me up so I could ultimately become the most talented in the family (in everything). As we've grown up Adam has always been my go-to for things like career advice or sending the most out of pocket memes to each other.
Chris Capper

Chris and I met way back in Mrs. Berry's kindergarten class. Since then, we've been thick as thieves. We stayed in school together all the way through high school, playing basketball and soccer together. Even after school, Chris and I have remained close, as Angela and I often stop in Des Moines to spend time with Chris, his wife Chelsea, and their daughters Mackenzie and Mia.
Sebastian Peña

Sebastian and I met in high school when he joined the soccer team. We were every coach's biggest nightmare scoring goals and goofing around. Sebastian and his wife Riley moved to Texas around the same time I did. It's been a blessing to see their family grow with 3 crazy boys and a precious daughter.
Bjorn Rydder

I met Bjørn in 7th grade when my club soccer coach announced a Danish kid from Poland will be joining our team. We bonded through soccer and having a good time. Despite Bjørn spending the last 12 years living in Europe and the Middle East we've remained close friends.
Manny Iloba

Manny joined the coaching staff at Concordia in my second year and was with me every step of the way. For 6 years we spent countless hours talking about soccer, life and anything else. Manny was often the voice of reason and the calming influence in the program. We went through ridiculous ups and downs on and off the field that led to a true friendship.

Jordon is my soon to be brother-in-law! The first time we met we had to build a shed for Donna (Angela's mom). Jordon and I talk sports and are always the ones dominating the family board games. Plus, Jordon was somehow able to get me to participate in the HotOnes challenge 3 times.
