We hit it off right away as freshman roommates in college. Annie has a heart of rose gold and metallic. She is one of my biggest supporters and the female version of Devin when I want to understand him better. I certainly look to her as inspiration because whatever she sets her mind to, she does, and I love that! In today's world of 2020 millennials, it's such a gift to have a friend with the same zest for God as me. She will do anything for her loved ones and is literally a human octopus when it comes to managing tasks. The hilarious adventures she and I have had together are countless. Fun fact: Annie joined me on my first ever trip with Devin. Upon returning home she said, "Dej, I think that boy loves you." My reply, "Not Uh"....
Darrel Dorsey

Darrel and I met in 7th grade homeroom when I threw a pokeball at him and we have been best friends ever since. Darrel always has my back. He a person who will do anything for his friends and family. He is responsible and has no problem being honest with you even if it will offend you, which is why I value our friendship so much. Darrel is one of our biggest supporters and is one of the people who made me realize that I should pursue the beautiful Ms. Lee that I always talked about. When I told him I was going to ask Deja to marry me his reply was" About damn time." I'm honored to have not only my best friend, but someone I consider my brother in by my side at my wedding.

Selfless, strong, and honest. Taylor and I met on the high school basketball court, the same place I met her brother who I'm now marrying! She is literally Devin's twin, however, prettier and more fiery. Over the years Taylor and I have built our own special relationship attending one another's parties and special events. She's a fun girl to go out with and great friend to confide in. I honestly can't wait for all the trips, house parties, and basketball games we are going to attend in the future. I'm so excited to gain her as a sister.
Karl Brown

Karl and I met back in high school and became close friends afterwards when we realize we have the same interest in a lot of things. Besides comic books and anime, another thing we have in common is basketball. Over the years Karl and I played ball every Sunday, went to the gym, and watched fights. Our friendship has greatly grown. Karl is one my closest friends and someone I consider family. I am glad to have such a great friend as a part of mine and Deja's wedding.

What can I say - I love her. Cristina is such a cool and down to earth friend. She's a chameleon, able to get along with everyone. Spend 5 minutes talking to her and I bet you'll feel at home. We also met in college, through Annie at that! Our relationship has flourished into something special. She is a soccer loving, BBQ radio listening, antique shopping, Portuguese queen. Not to mention I introduced her to her beau of 9 years! Who's currently her fiancée! I'm clearly proud of that lol. This circle is tight!

Edwin and I have been friends since the 6th grade and honestly, he is like another brother to me. Edwin was the first to say that I was going to marry Deja as soon as I started dating her. What can I say he called it. When I first started pursuing Ms.Lee, Ed used to drive me over there to her house before I had a car. So he was a big help in getting us here today haha. Edwin is one of the most kindhearted and friendliest people I know. Ed and I have been on many adventures and I'm glad that he will be there for my biggest one.

She welcomed me as the new kid in middle school and we only got closer from there. Countless sleepovers and bbqs are what made our friendship so great. It's rare to have a friend who's as tall as I am and shares my love for Jhonny Depp. Gabby is considerate of everyone and never forgets to celebrate her friends, no matter how big or small the achievement. She is as sweet as they come but don't let her soft voice fool you, Gabby is not the one to play with. I'm so glad time has bought our friendship to here and so excited to meet the sweet baby boy that she's bringing into this world!

My punk rock, anime, Call of Duty brother who take more jokes more than anyone should have too. Jah'meal is that friend who I hit it off with from the start. We first met working at Wal-Mart and literally the first thing I said to him was, "hey what's up Rubin Stutter". Jahmeal isn't afraid to let me know that I am wrong and give me advice when needed. He gave me the honor of being the Godfather to his daughter and honored that he'll be there when I marry my Queen.

My first ever friend! Since 4 years old India and I have been finding our way together. We spent time preparing salads for ants in our backyard and burying barbie dolls. Some of my funniest learning experiences have been had with her. Whatever trouble we found ourselves in, Indy was the first one getting us out. I love her sense of humor, and how she is not afraid to be herself no matter how it looks to anyone else. She is a brave and true blue friend. My forever family. I am so happy to have this crazy girl by my side as I say "I do".

The one person who is more competitive than me at family game night. Trevor is the one I know who can make anything fun. He’s a great guy loves his family and friends more than anything well next to hunting lol. He’s literally family and a great husband to my cousin Jackie. Over the past few years we have grew to become great friends and has giving great advice through this whole wedding planning thing. I’m deeply grateful to have him standing with me at Deja’s and mine’s.

Devin's second youngest sister Celina has welcomed me from day one. She is smart, sweet, funny and happens to be the same age as my own little brother. When Celina talks to you she makes you feel so comfortable and gives you her undivided attention. Not to mention, this girl is so talented! She knows sign language, plays piano, paints, and acts. Celina even won 'Best New Actress' in my Father In Law's short film. We're going to be one big talented family. You can count on Celina to plan your game night and bake some tasty treats to go with it. As much as we play 'Just Dance', I expect a fair and friendly dance battle out of her during the reception! I see you girl!

Not only is he the brother of the bride, he is also the brother in law I have always wanted. Jahvi is the one person I can always count on when Deja is trying to make us eat something healthy he always agrees with me to get pizza instead lol. I can talk about Naruto, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom hearts with him for hours, along with talking about different artists that inspire his art style. He designed a Naruto tattoo for me that symbolizes my marriage to Deja, and the design is more amazing than anything I could of imagined. He’s someone who cares deeply about his sister, which I respect deeply. Honestly I consider him not my brother in law but my actual brother. I’m glad to have him as a part of Deja’s and I’s wedding. Couldn’t imagine it without him.

My sweet little flower girl happens to be 15! We are re-shaping the image of a flower "girl" and I love it! Aaliyah is also Devin's little cousin/sister and at times, my spirit animal. Like me, she loves music, acting, reading, and writing. This girl has such a big heart. Aaliyah and Devin pick on each other the most in the house. Devin will crack a joke and she will punch him, however I can see just how much they love each other and it is so precious. I believe Aaliyah can become whatever she wants to. She and I understand each other so well. I have much love for her and I'm so happy to have her lead me in before my ceremonial debut!

Have you ever seen those anime’s/movies where you see two brothers and the one brother is calm patient and thinks everything through. Then the other brother is a wild child with no fear. Well that’s Bash and I lol. Bash is the little brother I always wanted especially after being the only boy in the family for years. Bash is fearless, rash, and the kindest person you ever meet. He’s always the first person to congratulate you and has always been in my corner, and for some reason he thinks I’m the greatest person there is. But in fact Bash is a million times more cooler and more amazing than one I know. He truly loves Deja as his sister in law. I couldn’t image not having him up at the altar with me on my biggest day.

She has unconventionally prepared me for this special moment in my life and what's to come after. I'm so thankful for her lessons, her beauty, her resilience, her youth, how she cracks the whip and how she consoles after. If anyone can pull a rabbit out of a hat it's Charity. I couldn't continue my journey if she didn't know just how much I truly love her. I'm also thankful for the special relationship she and Devin have built. I am named for him, "Rasana" (my middle name). My dad is intricate and wonderful. He's loved me forever. Thanks to him I have complexity and good taste! He fed a 9 year old sushi, he makes the dough of pizza from scratch, he perpetuates the idea that barbie dolls come to life when you're not using them. It's not for everyone to understand, but I know I can always count on him. He wouldn't give me away to just anyone, which attests to the faith he has in Devin. It's been a long time since our father-daughter dance in kindergarten. Can't wait for our second go at it.

My mother Sharon is not only the greatest mother but also the most amazing person in the world. There aren’t enough words to express the gratitude and respect I have for my father. Throughout life, I can honestly say he has been there for me every step of the way. Whether it's showing up to just about every one of my sporting games, signing me up for camps, or taking me to college. Even through my shortcomings, he always made sure to let me know that I wasn’t a failure and I could do it. I mean it when I say my dad is and has always been my best friend and a great father. He always said you should date Deja she's perfect for you and he was right. He’ll say that dads never get any praise during speeches from kids. Hopefully this short bio will suffice. Even though I never say it, just like every event in my life, I’m grateful and very excited to have my dad apart of this one.
