Welcome to our love story.

Bobs Discount Furniture is the location we met. As an 18 year old and still in school, Ashley was working in the cafe as Rob was a salesman. Both of them were in a different relationship when they had met in the cafe although, they both had a small attraction to each other.

I will forever believe their first date was on windy Monday (September 4th to be exact), Rob had picked me up and took me to Quitos (in Bristol). We stopped to get lunch. I am not a big seafood person, so I choose a cheese quesadilla with french fries while Rob ordered clam and chowder, and made fun of me for my choice.. haha. Rob then took me to Colt State Park, and sat at a picnic table with the water view. A few minutes of them eating and chatting, we noticed there were quite a few seaguls around them, and a few minutes later a few more came. Rob was starting to get a little uncomfortable. The next minute we had seaguls flying approximetly 2 feet above, and rob started throwing french fries and food at the seaguls for them to go away, but it did not work. We ended up leaving and that was our short date. Robs Version: September 12th, Rob cleaned his car (completely spotless) and wore a pink shirt (I had told him previously he would look great in a pink shirt because of his skin color) and showed up at my door, with flowers. He met my mom and my brother thast same time which he was not expecting, but I was still getting ready. We had left, and he took me to Kon for our first dinner date.

For a week, Rob had suggested going to Colt State Park to show Ian the park and beach and where we had our "first date" and our maternity photoshoot. I thought it was weird because, its cold to take a baby to the park/beach but I said fine because it gets us out of the house. I asked if Alyssa and Luc could come, to take some family photos ince we didn't have any On October 24th, Sunday morning, myself, Rob and Ian got ready and headed to Colt State Park and met up with Alyssa and Luc. We headed down towards the rocks near the water (which is where some of our maternity photoshoots were taken) because rob wants to mimic a photo - we got into position and rob pulled out the ring box (upside down :p) and asked "Will you marry me?" all nervous - as I said yes and we kissed, my brother and his girlfriend, with her kids all ran down a hill towards us. I then found out Rob originally planed to have this done in secret with our siblings hiding in a bush taking photos. It was perfect.
