Flight
Guests can fly directly into Charlottesville (CHO), our local airport, which is small but very convenient. Other nearby options include Richmond International Airport (RIC), about 1.5 hours away, and Dulles (IAD) or Reagan National (DCA) in Washington, D.C., roughly 2.5 hours away. Rental cars are easy to find at all airports, and the drive to Charlottesville is straightforward from any direction.
Train
Amtrak is also a convenient option, with a Charlottesville station right in downtown. It’s an easy, scenic way to get into town and puts you close to hotels, restaurants, and everything you’ll need for the weekend.

Boar’s Head Resort is a beautiful, full-service resort located right in town and is a wonderful option for guests looking for a comfortable and scenic place to stay during the wedding weekend. There is no room block or discount code here. Please note there is no direct shuttle pickup here, so guests will need to travel to one of the designated nearby pickup spots in town to access transportation to the wedding.
Travel Note
Charlottesville has lots of great Airbnbs and rental homes for anyone wanting extra space or a more homey stay. Just a heads-up: guests cannot drive themselves to the venue, so we’ll have shuttle pickups from a few designated spots (details coming soon!). If you stay in a rental, you’ll just need to make your way to one of those pickup locations on both wedding days
