What is the dress code?

Answer

Please see the "schedule" tab for detailed information regarding the dress code for each event. We’d love for guests to lean into bright and festive colors — Indian and Western outfits are both warmly welcomed!

Can I bring a plus-one?

We are only able to accommodate guests who are specifically listed on your invitation and RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I drive to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, no guest parking will be available at the venue, so all guests will need to use the provided transportation. Shuttle service will be available from the hotels where we have reserved room blocks (additional details to come — please see the Travel tab for hotel information). We also strongly discourage using Uber or rideshare services, as the venue can be difficult to locate and access.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

When you RSVP, there will be a section where you can note any dietary restrictions or food allergies. We will do our very best to make sure we can accommodate these!

Are the ceremony and reception outdoors?

Answer

Most of the celebration will take place outdoors, with a covered tent for the reception. October weather in Charlottesville can vary, so we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast as the date gets closer and dressing accordingly. Ladies- please note most of the celebration will take place on grass so keep that in mind when choosing shoes

Is there an afterparty?

Yes! We’ve reserved space at our favorite cocktail bar, Lost Saint, to keep the celebration going. Transportation will be provided from the venue, and since it’s located in town, it will be close to most hotels as well.

Do I need to arrive at a specific time for brunch on Sunday?

Answer

Not at all! The brunch is very casual and come-and-go. Feel free to stop by anytime between 9–11am. There’s no need to arrive right at the start or stay the whole time—just swing through when it works for you, grab some food and coffee, and say goodbye before heading out!
