Travel Note
We highly recommend booking your accommodation as soon as you know you’ll be attending. The Cape Winelands is in high season during this time, and hotels tend to fill up quickly. Hotels in the Cape Winelands region do not participate in hotel blocks so we recommend booking your accommodation through our travel agent, Kylie Thornley. In addition to securing preferred rates at our recommended hotels, Kylie can also help you plan a full South African getaway if you choose to explore beyond the wedding - whether that’s visiting other regions or heading out on safari. The hotels listed on this page are best booked directly through her, as she has access to discounted rates. Her services come at no cost to you. If you’d like to work with her, please click the link below for more information about our wedding hotels, and feel free to reach out to her at Kylie@africaandyou.com.
Flight
There are 2 direct flights to Cape Town from the US. 1) Newark, NJ with United 2) Atlanta, GA with Delta Keep in mind, you arrive at night in South Africa 1 day later so you lose an entire day. For example, if you fly out on Monday night in the US (eastern time zone) you’d only get to Cape Town on Tuesday night (in Cape Town’s time zone).
Travel Note
We will be in Cape Town March 12th through 14th. We plan on hopping around Cape Town. If you are interested in joining us at some bars or restaurants let us know!
