Check in is 5 pm. We are doing the best we can to try and get everyone an early check in, but that might not be possible. We suggest that you book your room for both Friday and Saturday night. If you can only make it for Saturday, then we suggest you book your stay at the M22 Inn - Glen Arbor. Their check in time is 3 pm.
Our wedding ceremony and reception are kid free. Please make sure you schedule childcare for the evening!
If your invitation includes your name plus a guest, then please feel free to bring one guest with you. If your invitation has just your name, then we would prefer that it is just you who come! P.S. - We did not include guests on save the dates.
Our wedding will be formal attire. If you are choosing to walk to the ceremony or reception venue, then it might be a good idea to bring some walking shoes and a warm coat with you as well.
Please plan to RSVP no later than October 10.
Please arrive at Camp Firefly 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony. I suggest looking at the map of the resort here to help you find your way around - https://www.thehomesteadresort.com/the-resort/resort-maps/
There is parking at both venues. The parking lot at Camp Firefly (where the ceremony will take place) is very small, but you will be able to park along the side of the road or at the Stony Brook Lodge or Brook Hill Condo parking. If you are staying at Stony Brook, then I suggest walking to the Ceremony. There is a larger parking lot at Mountain Flowers Lodge for the reception, that will be able to accommodate everyone. If you are staying at either the Fiddler's Pond or Little Belle suites, then you will be able to walk to the Mountain Flowers Lodge if you choose to. Please make sure to leave the parking closest to the doors for those who need it!
We have rooms blocked at The Homestead. However, I would say the earlier the better! To make your reservation, call The Homestead and let them know that you are staying for the Haggerty-Armstrong wedding and the staff can help you pick out a room. I suggest looking at their website to get a feel for what each room has to offer and a map of the resort to see where things are located. The resort also has entire houses that you can rent. Some of the buildings do have a lot of stairs, so if you cannot stay in a room that requires you to climb stairs, please make sure you tell the staff that you need a first floor room when calling to make your reservation.
