Room Options

The Inn at Stonecliffe offers two unique types of accommodations, each with several styles of rooms. Each guest room includes complimentary wireless internet and hot-breakfast buffet. The Cudahy Mansion features 16 unique bed-and-breakfast style guest rooms with a turn-of-the-century theme. Although each guest room does feature its own private bath, they do not offer the modern amenities of elevator access, air-conditioning, in-room refrigerators and microwaves. The Summerhouse Suites are fully modern guestroom suites with a summer cottage feel. Each of these rooms feature either one king or two queen-size beds, a full-size pull-out sofa sleeper, large flat-screen TV, dinette, mini-fridge, microwave, and private bath. All rooms in the summerhouse are air-conditioned.

Shuttle

Mackinac Island Carriage Tours offers a horse-drawn shuttle service between the ferry docks and Stonecliffe for $7.00 per person. However, if you choose to walk or ride your bike, your luggage can be transported free of charge. Simply look for the Stonecliffe porter at the dock (he will be calling out for Stonecliffe guests). Note that if you decide to ride the shuttle, the driver accepts cash only. Shuttle times vary, depending on the time of the season and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call the Mackinac Island Carriage Tours office at 906-847-3323 for shuttle information.

Transportation between Ceremony and Reception

If you choose to stay at The Inn at Stonecliffe, transportation will be provided to and from the ceremony. If you choose other lodging locations or plan to come for the day only, please consider the travel time to the church from your location. (walk, bike, taxi) Ferry Dock- Main St. to Church- .4 miles, aprox. 10 min walk Ferry Dock-Main St. to Stonecliffe- 1.7 miles, aprox. 36 min walk Stonecliffe to the Church 1.5 miles, aprox 30 min walk

Getting to the Island

We have a discounted rate through Star Line Ferry . Simply enter the promo code WEDDING online if purchasing your tickets ahead of time. Discounted tickets may also be purchased upon arrival at their ticket booth by providing the bride and grooms name. Please show up for an early ferry to guarantee you get to the church on time!
