The ceremony starts at 4:00 p.m. (yes, there was a misprint on the invitations, our bad).
Yes we know. And we are going to get that Tuesday turnt.
Because of the limited space at our venue, we have invited only our closest loved ones to partake in this celebration. And we would prefer to keep it that way. Invitations will specifically name who is welcome, and any plus ones will be outlined in the invitation details.
The dress code is outdoor formal attire (think fancy picnic), and yes, we would appreciate it being followed. As much as we love jeans and sandals, our wedding is not the appropriate place for that. We also ask that no one where white or white-adjacent outfits, as it’s bad luck.
We will be more than happy to take any questions all the way up until the day of the wedding. Once it’s wedding day, please direct any questions/concerns/problems to a family member of the bride or groom OR a member of the wedding party.
As much as we love and adore your littles, we ask that you leave them home for the night. Have a date night on us!
Please RSVP no later than July 31st. After that, the link to RSVP will be disabled and we will assume anyone not RSVP’d is unable to attend.
The wedding is COMPLETELY outside, so please keep that in mind when picking out shoes for the occasion.
Parking will be across the street in the Edison & Ford parking lot (by the ticket office).
The ceremony will be a NO PHONE event as we have already hired professional photographers (and we would REALLY like to have nice wedding photos that don’t feature a bunch of cellphones in the way). We ask that everyone respects this rule, but feel free to take all the photos and videos you want during cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception. Posting to social media is totally cool with us, so long as everyone in the picture/video is okay with you doing so.
Dinner choices include brisket, chicken, and a vegan option for our non-meat eaters. If there are any dietary restrictions you’d like to discuss with us, let us know and we’ll see if we’re able to accommodate those.
We are holding out hope that this pandemic will mostly be done by the time our big day rolls around, but if not, we ask that anyone attending be vaccinated, test negative for COVID, or wear a mask when near others outside of their party. The wedding will also be outdoors to allow space for social distancing.
All guests not present at the venue by 4:00 will remain outside of the venue until the conclusion of the ceremony.
Please check the “registry” tab on this website for information on how to best bless us in this season.
