If you've never been to the Amalfi Coast, you should know its important to note not only the distance, but also the difference in elevation between any point A and point B. I cannot tell you how many times we made this mistake during our first visit. Hotel Belmond Caruso is located just outside of Ravello's main square, Piazza Duomo (photo above). There is no through traffic through Piazza Duomo, and there is minimal through traffic through the main streets of town, which adds to the overall charm of Ravello. If you're envisioning a leisurely stroll to the wedding, you'll want to clarify how many stairs you'll have to climb in either direction before booking your stay. We realize that Hotel Belmond Caruso is not a reasonably priced option for most people (anyone!) to stay. Below is a list of hotels both reasonably priced and reasonably located. If you have another accommodation in mind please let us know, we are happy to help you figure out if its a good option!

This is the furthest recommendation from the wedding venue and requires walking up hill or up stairs to get to the main town (about ten minutes). However, the hotel offers a shuttle service to town. After just a few minute drive, the walk to the venue will take you less than ten minutes.
