The Path of the Gods is a four mile moderate hike beginning in Bomerano, a subset of Agerola, and ending in Nocelle, a subset of Positano. The views are absolutely stunning. We started our hike with a hike up elevation from our sleepy village, Conca dei Marini, to Agerola (don’t recommend!) and finished our hike with a hike down elevation, 1500 steps, from Nocelle to Positano (highly recommend!). The beautiful sunset photo above is one we took as we descended into Positano at the end of the day. With a little planning, the trail is also accessible by pubic bus. Our second recommendation is to spend some time taking the Amalfi Coast in by sea. This can be as cheap or extravagant as you want to make it. On the low end, consider taking a water taxi between villages instead of driving or taking public transit! Depending on where you stay you may not even need to arrange this in advance. Certain seaside towns may have one or a few water taxi's waiting right on the dock, as was the case where we stayed in Conca dei Marini. In addition to utilizing water taxis, we also splurged on a six hour private boat tour. The tour guide brought us up and down the coast, into secret coves, and even stopped at a seaside restaurant for lunch. It was an experience well worth the money! Although it is always a safe bet to arrange something like this in advance, we easily made arrangements after we had arrived. Below is an example of a company that offers boat rental services, but a quick google search will find you plenty more. https://www.amalfiboatrental.com
