No. We recommend renting a car or texting us to figure out carpools. There's also an hourly shuttle that runs from SFO and OAK airports to Santa Rosa Airport for $52! From the Santa Rosa Airport, you can call an Uber/ Lyft for the remainder of the 45-minute drive to the venue, or organize a carpool. You can reserve here: https://groometransportation.com/sonoma-county/sfo-oak/
Yes! But the venue's roads are windy and steep, parking is limited, and overflow vehicles will have to park pretty far away. We're providing free transportation from Guerneville hotels (Casa Secoya and Creekside Inn) and we recommend you use that instead. Ubers will be difficult to get in Guerneville and harder at the venue at night.
YES! If you'd like to bring a tent and stay on-site, please text or email Deb or Julia and we'll get you set up in a flat site at SFS. There are outdoor bathrooms and showers you can use. SFS may charge a nominal fee-- about $10/night-- but TBD.
We'd love to have the whole family together and as you know, we're obsessed with all your kids. But sadly we only have room for the kids on the invites. But all are welcome for the Friday and Sunday events! For all parents, please keep in mind the venue has many open ponds and hazards. You may need to gameplan a bit (text us and we can help), or consider leaving kids at home if they can't resist the call of danger.
We will be the Buxbaums (after many years trying out signatures). While Deborah loves her Poznansky and Stone heritage just as much, Julia had a stronger attachment to her names, both Herrmann and Buxbaum. We also wanted our name to reflect a Jewish household, so we will change our names to Deborah Celia Buxbaum and Julia Herrmann Buxbaum.
- Hot Box BBQ Truck (get the Volcano) - Russian River Brewing (get the world-famous Pliny the Elder) - Boon dinner (get the brussels sprouts)
It's Labor Day Weekend, which means many of you hopefully have a Monday holiday! We highly recommend you extend the trip if you can, and go wine tasting or otherwise explore this stunning region of California. - Guerneville's Russian River access is beautiful. Many people go tubing down the river! - Wine tasting at nearly any winery will be wonderful. Definitely call ahead for a reservation. Guerneville has Equality Vines Tasting Room plus other well-reviewed vineyards, and we've heard good things about St. Francis Winery. - Healdsburg and Point Reyes Station are lovely towns to visit. - Drive to Jenner and Cafe Aquatica if you want to see the coast-- just 20 mins from the venue.
