Carrie and Robert met working at Six Flags Great America as performers in 2003 and have been inseparable ever since! In the summer of 2007, they finished an entire 24 pack of Diet Coke in less than a day. Did they peak then? Who’s to say?

Robert and Lauren have been friends, collaborators, and aspiring muppets since they met in 2009. Together they've produced multiple cabarets and eaten more sushi than one might think is humanly possible.

Kathleen and Robert met performing right in their early 20's and have been inseparable ever since. You might remember them from one of their critically acclaimed performances at Scarlet Bar (although considering the fact that a grand total of 15 people saw those shows, you probably don't)

Robert and James Lee ("Leebo") met in 2011. Their mutual hobbies include athlesure, any real housewives franchise, and being so competitive in a group fitness classes that someone ends up puking. They've recently formed a two man coalition to have McDonalds bring back their "popcorn chicken bites".

J Tyler and Robert first met in line for an audition (well, technically, J Tyler talked to his friend on the phone about how annoying the guy in line behind him was). Since then, they've collaborated on a number of projects together. Whenever Robert is feeling like making an impulse purchase, J is the #1 person to call because he'll always say yes. Talk about FRIENDSHIP.

Sara and Robert met working at Six Flags Great America in 2003. Shortly after, Sara suggested that the two of them learn how to play dueling pianos, thus changing the entire trajectory of Robert's life. Although she's no longer dueling, trust us when we say that their version of "Til The World Ends" by Britney Spears is unsurpassable.

Morgan and Robert met performing at Six Flags in 2003. After that, they lived together all over Chicago for the better part of 6 years. Even though she moved to Houston ages ago, the Barista a Starbucks still asks Robert about her (which tells you a lot about how frequently they used to go for coffee).

Jenny and Michael passed each other in the halls of Jones Junior High during middle school and finally collided in a Driver's Ed car sophomore year (the car never actually collided with another, but Jenny often thought it would when Michael was behind the wheel). Jenny spent the remainder of high school begrudgingly driving him around, putting up with his antics, and talking at Perkins until the wee morning hours. They haven’t looked back since. Through moves, degrees, children, houses, dogs, and jobs, they have kept each other sane and laughing through it all. Adulting with her by Michael’s side has been the best.

David and Michael’s friendship began at Illinois State University in the Theatre Education Department. They spent five glorious years as roommates (with Katherine), finishing out their college years and as baby Chicagoans. David has a talent for making Michael laugh until his tummy hurts and he has a love for carrots and salad that is rivaled by no one.

Katherine and Michael also became friends at Illinois State University in the Theatre Department. Though her real name is, in fact, Katy, Michael began calling her Katherine (to annoy her, of course) 17 years ago. The two of them lived together (with David) for five years where she became family. Her carrot cake is one of the best baked goods Michael has ever consumed and he thanks her for all of the laughter over two decades. These days, she calls Nebraska home and is missed terribly here in the Windy City.
Groomsman
Matthew and Michael happened to be standing next to each other to register for a class at Illinois State where they struck up a conversation about musicals and jean shorts. Their mutual love for musicals and strong opinions about, well, everything have kept them laughing for two decades. Michael does not know anyone else who loves Patti LuPone more than Matthew and he doesn’t blame him.

Sarah and Michael happen to be twins - which is pretty cool if you ask Michael (she is a minute older). Favorite childhood activities included making him buy her cinnamon covered fruit snack confections, playing school, and, as they got older, going to Perkins and talking with their friends until curfew and beyond. She is relentlessly curious about others, a lover of books, a passionate high school educator, an incredible mother to two amazing girls, and an all around weirdo. Don’t be fooled by her quiet demeanor, she has more energy than the energizer bunny and will talk for hours around the kitchen table, preferably with a gin and tonic in hand.

As many brothers do, Michael and Mark shared a room through much of their formative years. There was a great deal of Ninja Turtle and Ghostbuster action figures, listening to music, and fighting over the top bunk. These activities gave way to talking over coffee. Sans the Ninja Turtles and the bunk bed, these activities still commence today. Markus is a fantastic bassist, exceptional therapist, and wonderful dad to two amazing kids. They live blocks away from each other in Chicago and Michael couldn’t be luckier to have such a supportive brother so close.

Michael is proud to say Kimmi is his one and only real high school girlfriend - crazy right? Kimmi and Michael grew up one block away from each other but didn’t truly become friends until high school. Their strange sense of humor and mutual love for art, music, family, and pets brought them together and have kept them close some 23 years later. Kimmi is a talented soprano, compassionate friend, and phenomenal mother to her daughter, Lilly, and her menagerie of furry babies. Don’t put them in a party together, they will unintentionally seclude themselves in a corner and talk for hours.
