When Robert and Michael first started dating, Robert would curl up next to Michael on the couch, nestle his head into the crook of Michael's neck, and wrap his arms around Michael. Michael would look down at him and say, “You’re just like a little panda bear snuggling close.” And just like that, Robert became known as, Panda. Robert, after much agonizing, decided Michael best resembled a meerkat (which Michael doesn't disagree with). To them, this furry pair, in their formal wear, seemed like the perfect way to represent their union, both whimsical and dashing, full of life and love for each other.
It’s important to us that all guests feel safe at this celebration. Everyone in attendance, with the exception of children 12 or younger, will be vaccinated against COVID-19. All children will be masked during the ceremony and reception, unless eating or drinking. Both grooms are vaccinated, and will likely opt not to wear masks during the evening. As a vaccinated population, we will leave the option of wearing a mask up to your comfort level and discretion.
There is a parking lot located on the west side of the building on Leavitt Street. There will be an attendant on site to admit you into the lot. Street parking is also available, however it is not recommended to leave your car overnight.
If I were you, yes. Lfyt and Uber are excellent ways to travel in Chicago without the hassle of driving in traffic and parking your car. Please consider downloading one of these two ride share applications to your phone before coming. Unfortunately, there will not be a shuttle from the W to Walden.
