Saldivia's South American Grill
This is where we had our first date and Matthew asked Katriana to be his girlfriend and made their relationship official! Six months later both of our families came together to meet for the first time, in what would be the first of many meals we would get to share as one family!
McGovern Centennial Gardens
One of the first dates we went on consisted of walking through this beautiful garden with many kinds of plants and flowers. We have since come a few times, even to get inspiration for our wedding flowers!
Houston Museum of Natural Science
The museum has always had many fond memories for both of us and now we have gotten to enjoy sharing many new memories together. We have enjoyed exploring Egyptian history (Matthew's favorite), getting to see beautiful gems, jewelry, and shells (Katriana's favorite), and dancing the night away with dinosaurs!
Houston Zoo
The zoo has also been a location that we have enjoyed many times, whether it be early in the morning, late in the afternoon, or at night to see the Christmas lights, the beautiful zoo is definitely a place to stop by, especially to see the monkeys!
The Galleria
Shopping is a favorite pass time hobby for both of us, even if it's just to enjoy a casual drive through Houston and its growing outskirt cities.
The Original Marini's Empanada House
Matthew has always enjoyed coming to Marini's for their flavor-filled menu, and it just so happens to be Katriana is half Argentinian so it's been a win-win for both of us, yummy food and culture!
