We recommend traveling on or before Friday, August 4th. We understand that there are a lot of moving parts involved in getting here (planes, trains, automobiles, and ferries!) so have tried to provide a detailed outline for the transportation we have chartered privately. If you are making plans outside of our suggested schedule, do what works best for you to ensure that you can make it out to the island before the ceremony.
The wedding will be outdoors, with the ceremony taking place on the lawn in front of the Inn. Our cocktail hour will be on the Inn's front porch and lawn and we will have a tented reception.
It is 15 minutes from Cousins Island or ~90 minutes from Portland. Please refer to our Travel and Accommodations page for more details!
The wedding party will be occupying the full Inn, so you won't be able to book a room. However, since we have booked the whole place, please feel comfortable enjoying the space if you want to check it out on Friday or arrive early on Saturday.
Coach buses will take guests from the Aloft Hotel to the Chebeague Transportation Company's ferry dock. From there, you will board the ferry for a 15 minute ride to Chebeague Island. The ferry drops guests at the base of the Inn, where a short walk will get you to the ceremony site.
