Our wedding venue is located on Shelter Island, a centrally located neighborhood of San Diego that is just minutes away from the airport and the downtown area. The Bali Hai is a tiki-inspired local landmark that features Polynesian cuisine, famous Mai Tais, and spectacular views of San Diego Bay and the downtown skyline – all of which you will get to experience at our wedding! While our venue centrally located and typically a quick trip from the surrounding neighborhoods, please keep in mind that rush hour traffic can build up on Thursday afternoons when preparing to travel to our ceremony. For those of you driving, there is plentiful, free parking right outside of the Bali Hai, but it is also easy to use a ride-sharing app to travel to and from the venue as well.

***VENUE CHANGE ALERT*** Welp. Things aren't always going to go according to plan when throwing a big wedding celebration…but honestly, we are going to count this one as a blessing in disguise! Our original after-party venue fell through during the final countdown to our wedding *womp womp*…BUT…we have found another venue that has been incredibly wonderful and accommodating and we’re so excited to have them host our celebration! Drumroll please for Spin Nightclub!! Rest assured that we are not going to stop celebrating just because the wedding is over, so please join us at Spin afterwards! Spin is the home of San Diego’s underground music scene and is just a 4-mile drive from the Bali Hai. We suggest using a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft since parking can be limited in that part of town. If you do prefer to drive your own vehicle there is free street parking nearby.
