So you might be wondering, what the heck is steampunk?
Steampunk is a style of design and fashion that combines historical elements with anachronistic technological features inspired by science fiction. Think victorian meets industrial revolution, meets art deco.
Don't worry, you'll get it!
Classic Steampunk accessories:
Gloves (leather/fingerless), scarves, corsets, belts, coats (trench/high waist coat/military jacket), Aviator goggles, sunglasses, boots/heels, hats (top hats, bowler hats, newsboy cap), gold/bronze jewelry (and lots of it!).
Remember, clocks, aviation, and Victorian fashion are all blended together to create a cohesive look. Some additional things that you may want to carry around with you would be umbrellas and parasols, a cane, decorative weapons, and holsters and straps in leather.
At the end of the day, Steampunk fashion is all about being comfortable in your own skin and showing off your unique style.
