New Orleans International Airport

If you plan to fly to New Orleans, our airport is MSY and the website is flymsy.com. The airport is about a 25 minute drive from downtown New Orleans. You can call an Uber/Lyft, but if their prices are surging a cab ride is $36 for 2 passengers or $15 a person for 3 or more. If you plan to rent a car, please note many hotels charge for parking.

Hotel

The Eliza Jane - In the Unbound Collection by Hyatt

This is one of Deandra and Jose's favorite hotels in the city. It is close to all wedding weekend events and is highly recommended. There are also a number of other hotels in the area at various price points. We do recommend a hotel in the French Quarter or Central Business District for your convenience. The ceremony and reception will be within walking distance.

House Or Rental

Airbnb or Sonder

Rental services like Airbnb and Sonder are also great options for larger groups and there are plenty of options in the city. If you have questions or concerns about a particular neighborhood, please feel free to ask and we can steer you in the right direction.

Rental Car

Uber, Lyft, and Streetcar

For those who are not staying within walking distance of the ceremony and reception, we recommend Uber and Lyft for getting around the city. The streetcar is also a great option if you're not pressed for time. It's $1.25 to ride. You must have exact change or you can download the RTA app and purchase tickets online (recommended).
