OMESCAPE - Sunnyvale
As you all know, Doug and I are escape room enthusiasts so of course we will be recommending escape rooms in the area. In our opinion, the hands down best game in the South Bay Area is Chaos in the Galleria at Omescape Sunnyvale. Forsaken Temple, also at Omescape Sunnyvale, is a bit lower on our rankings but still a fun, tech-filled room if you don't have the 6 players required to book Chaos in the Galleria. It's a bit further from San Jose, but if you have some time to spare, book a room and have fun!
Off The Couch Games
One of our top 3 favorite escape room companies in LA called Evil Genius closed last year due to landlord issues. We kid you not, LA escape room enthusiasts collectively mourned the loss of Evil Genius when they closed. Luckily, the owners of Off the Couch Games bought all of their games and reopened them in the Bay. If you are crazy like us, we recommend checking out all 3 chapters of their "Pandorum" series back to back. If not, just play "Chapter 4: The Morgue." We heard that the new owners made some changes to it, but it should still be a fun room!
SoFA Market
Grab some bites at the hipster SoFA Market and then take a stroll in the SoFA district aka Silicone Valley's Creative District. You can also bump that stroll up a notch and go on an urban hike and check out all of the murals in the area (see Downtown San Jose Street Art Trail.)

Bay 101
For all you degenerates out there.. you know who you are. Hit the tables at Bay 101. We've been told that there's "lots of action" at the poker tables there. If you win big, remember to share :) If you lose, no worries, you can drink away your sorrows at our open bar. Our newlywed fund wishes you lots of luck!
