If you would like to give us a wedding gift, then please consider contributing to our honeymoon. Neither of us have been out of country, so we are both excited in planning this trip. We are going to Japan for two weeks. We will fly into and spend four nights in Tokyo. Tokyo will be the more modern portion of our trip with pop culture areas like Shibuya and nightlife/bars in Shinjuku. Of course, we are going to the anime “capital,” Akihabara. From Tokyo, we will travel to Hakone for two nights which will be a nice relaxing break. Hakone is known for their relaxing hot spring hotels. After Hakone, we will travel to Kyoto and spend three days seeing the more historic side of Japan. We will visit old temples and shrines. During an evening, we will experience a Kyo-Kaiseki where we will eat a 10+ course meal based on local foods. The last leg of our journey will be a stay in a Buddhist Temple in Mount Koya.
