Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive
The Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive is one of our favorite local attractions. There is nothing quite like the breathtaking sights from the top of Pyramid Point. The 7.4 mile drive loops through the Beech-Maple forest and sand dunes and provides insight to the history of the area, a sampling of the vegetative communities found within the park and, best of all, spectacular overlooks of the Glen Lakes, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Lake Michigan.
Frankfort Beach
If you're have a few minutes to a few hours to spend, you can't go wrong with stopping by Frankfort Beach. Take a dip in Lake Michigan, walk the pier, or just soak up the sun.
Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club
Arcadia Bluffs resembles a seaside links course with rolling terrain, natural fescues, and panoramic views of beautiful Lake Michigan. Even if golf is not your game, its worth a visit to enjoy a cocktail and the spectacular views at sunset.
Point Betsie Lighthouse Beach
Located only 5 miles away from downtown Frankfort, Point Betsie is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee, picnic lunch or expansive views of the sunset over Lake Michigan.
