On July 21st, armed with a pocketful of nerves and a ring that sparkled brighter than a shooting star, Sammy picked up Daysi, and off they went to Rosarito, to savor the finest mariscos in town and arrived at their room with a breathtaking ocean view. In the grand scheme of bustling Saturday- a day already packed with plans, from breakfast giggles to lunchtime laughs with friends- Daysi innocently believed that their return to the room signaled the conclusion of the evening with leisurely activities. Little did she suspect the mischievous plot twist that awaited her. Returning to their room, a sight worthy of a fairytale unfolded- a room blooming with roses more than a garden could boast. Daysi, overwhelmed with joy, shed happy tears. But the surprises didn’t end there. With a twinkle in Sammy's eye and a grin that hinted at mischief, Sammy presented another twist in the tale- a sudden proposal for dinner, with just an hour to get ready, Daysi, worked her magic, proving to once again that she's the undisputed queen of speedy preparations, was ready in record time! As they sipped on life's goodness overlooking the ocean outside their room, the clock struck 6, and mariachi tunes filled the air. Daysi, bewildered but excited, followed Sammy up the stairs, where a photographer and mariachi awaited. Against the sunset backdrop over the ocean, Sammy dropped to one knee, and popped the question, and the rest is a blur of happy tears and overwhelming joy for Daysi. And so, in the midst of mariachi melodies and ocean waves, Sam and Daysi embarked on their happily ever after, proving that love is not only an adventure but also a wild, unpredictable rollercoaster ride.
