March 3, 2027 9:00 am
(Disregard the date and time above for now) Though there are other ways to get to and from the airport, the best way is to book a shuttle. Based on similar flight info, hopefully, there can be groups of our guests to travel together into the town of Las Terrenas from the airport to save money and make the journey more enjoyable. If you are interested in carpooling or renting a private van with other wedding guests, our wedding planner can assist with grouping (MORE DETAILS TO COME). We will leave it up to the discretion of our guests to coordinate with each other to set up the rentals or private van transport if you do not wish to be grouped by our planner. ONE-WAY PRICES: *Santo Domingo (SDQ)* 1-6 people $180 7-11 people $250 12- 26 people $460
Rental Car
You may also rent a car from SDQ. The drive from SDQ to Las Terrenas is safe, but we would not recommend driving at night. Also note that there are tolls to get to Las Terrenas, so make sure to have Dominican pesos on hand.

There are many great places to stay in Las Terrenas, whether you want to make it a budget trip or stay somewhere more upscale - it has it all! We recommend to stay along Playa Cosón, Playa Bonita, or even closer to the center of town - Playa Las Ballenas. Our venue, Rosabaya on Playa Cosón, is where our wedding party and we will be staying. Conveniently, Sublime Samana Hotel is located next to our villa and is the closest option. We are working on a room block for this hotel, so stay tuned! If you'd prefer to stay elsewhere, there are many Airbnb locations and a few hotels within a few-minute drive. If booking outside of Sublime Hotel or properties, please use our Villa Rosabaya as a landmark to be aware of the distance from the villa. Ideally, we would love for all of our guests to be close, as well; however, no matter where you pick, it will be amazing! We have included some of our favorite spots and some recommendations below to help you decide:

Travel Note
In the past, we’ve loved spending a day or two in the capital, Santo Domingo, before heading home. It’s especially convenient for departures out of SDQ, but also a wonderful way to experience another side of the Dominican Republic. For example, when we had an early morning flight, we made the drive from Las Terrenas to Santo Domingo the day before so we could unwind, explore a bit, and enjoy a relaxed, stress-free morning getting to the airport. If you decide to do the same, we suggest staying in Zona Colonial. Zona Colonial is the UNESCO-listed, historic heart of Santo Domingo, recognized as the oldest continuously inhabited European-established settlement in the Americas. It features 16th-century cobblestone streets, Spanish colonial architecture, and major landmarks. The area is a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly district filled with museums, restaurants, cafes, and boutique hotels, including our favorite, Mosquito Boutique Hotel, sister hotel to the one in Las Terrenas recommended above. It is absolutely stunning and you find find out more below.
