We kindly ask you refrain from wearing white and dusty/frost blue. Ladies should wear long elegant dresses or long cocktail dresses. We love flower prints and vibrant colors. Medellín is known as “La Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera”, the city of eternal spring. Sunny warm days & cooler nights, with highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s. We recommend you bringing a light sweater to the wedding as it may get cooler.

Medellin is recognized as one of the best cities for Americans to visit & retire due to the weather & affordable cost of living. Paisas (people of Medellin) are happy to help tourists. That said, just as in other big cities, you have to be cautious with common sense safety measures such as securing your bag to your person just as you would on a trip in Europe.
