As this is a spring wedding, floral prints, pastels, and spring colors make great attire for a wedding during this season. Ladies: Summer dresses are a great option. Men: You can dress it up if you like or keep it more toned down in a button up and khakis. You can find an example/reference photo above
North Carolina in May can be quite unpredictable. Temperature can fluctuate but it can begin to be hot by mid May, so I would prepare by perhaps wearing sunscreen, and bringing something to fan yourself as this will be an outdoor ceremony.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location: Lockamy Plantation in Angier, NC.
Obviously this will be based upon the weather that day but as of now, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors.
After the ceremony the bride and groom will need to take time to take their pictures. There will be a cocktail hour with beverages and finger foods available. Guests can make their way to the side of the barn for the cocktail hour.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
We recommend everyone arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow us to get started on time.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. Plus ones are fine if you come to me and I give you the go ahead. Otherwise assume the invitation is only for you.
As in the other answer, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Children definitely will be included at the wedding, just make sure to look at the rsvp to see how many people you can bring. Family can definitely bring their kids, but when it comes to friends we are inviting mainly only the couple or individual themselves. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
As we are having a budget wedding, reserving a hotel block was not an option for us. I did however list on the travel tab the hotels around the area that guests can stay at.
As we already have a home and plenty of homegoods, we no longer have a registry. If you would like though, you can contribute to our honeymoon fund.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #callusthejeans so we can keep track of all of your pictures! I will also say that the ceremony will be unplugged so we do ask that you refrain from taking any pictures until after the ceremony and appreciate your cooperation with that :)
