Murphys is a historic Gold Rush town that has more recently developed into a wine tasting destination. We encourage you to spend the weekend exploring Main Street's many tasting rooms, restaurants and boutiques, and perhaps take a drive up Highway 4 to get a glimpse of some early fall foliage in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Tour the grounds and wine cave, eat lunch and view the 44-pound gold flake at their museum.

Ironstone Vineyards

An 8.5-mile out-and-back hike that starts at an alpine lake. You can park at the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum.

Arnold Rim Trail Head

These trees do not disappoint -- they're some of the biggest in the world! Join us for a group hike on Sunday at 1 p.m. (It's an easy walk with no hills.)
