Dawson and I met on the website "Coffee Meets Bagel". My best friend Jessi convinced me to go on our first date (not because I didn't want to meet Dawson but because I needed convincing to go on a date in general). I am so glad that Jessi convinced me because that first date lasted for 4 hours!!! We met up to get dessert and talk, we had dessert and we did A LOT of talking! Before we knew it the restaurant was closing and we had to leave. We talked day and night on social media until I worked up the courage to invite him to a friendsgiving we were having. Yep, our second date was friendsgiving with all of my friends!! After that we went on a few more dates until we decided to make our relationship official, Since that day we have shared a lot of laughs, a lot of tears (mostly from me) most of them happy tears, but most importantly we have shared a lot of love. Dawson proposed on 8/15/2020. I had planned a best friend photo shoot with my friends Jessi and Catrina and Dawson as the photographer, well little did I know that Dawson was planning his own scheme! Dawson reached out to my friends without me knowing to plan the proposal. He enlisted their help with picking out the perfect ring and planning how to surprise me. We planned on taking pictures at Roger Williams State Park in Providence Rhode Island and we planned to end the photo shoot with a trip on the swan boats. It worked out perfectly because you can only fit two people in a boat. Jessi and Catrina had a camera and caught the moment that Dawson proposed!! I always joked with Dawson saying "you could propose with a ring pop and I would say yes". Well that's exactly what he did! I was so happy with my ring pop until he pulled out the real ring and asked if he should return it since I loved the ring pop so much, I kept both and now I get to marry the man of my dreams!!!
