Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Unless a wedding party member or family. BLACK BLACK BLACK. Burgundy accents are great. NO WHITE PLEASE. Think classy or whimsical goth. Google “goth wedding” if you need inspiration. 🖤 PSA (ladies predominantly) - the ceremony will be on a mountain, wear shoes you’re comfortable in, and possibly even bring a cover of some sort in case it’s breezy. The reception will be at our house but it is both indoor and outdoors.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We are about the same distance between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. Both have plenty of hotel options. I listed a few hotels under the travel tab here in the website. As well as some rental car companies if anyone needs.

Question

Ceremony Parking?

Answer

There will be two lots at the ceremony on the top of big pocono summit. An upper and lower lot. The upper lot is reserved for wedding party and select family members. Most will be parking at the lower lot and walking or shuttling up. It is not a far walk.

Question

Reception Parking?

Answer

There is minimal parking on the sidewalk in front of our home as well as across the street in front of the trees. The majority of parking for the reception will be at the church with blue tops, at the end of our street (near the river). On the corner of Lambert St. and Main St. If any drivers want to drop guests off at the house then park and walk back, that is encouraged. Our street tends to be pretty mellow. It is a two way street even though it may not look like it in most areas. Just old Pittston roads. Locals are usually very courteous.

Question

Are guests staying at your home afterwards?

Answer

We will have a couple friends staying with us from out of town. Usually guests would be more than welcome but at this time we do not have beds available unless we discussed it previously.
