Bear with me guys!!!

Learning as I go here. Never planned a wedding before. Definitely don’t plan on doing it again! This process is A LOT. It has surprisingly not been as stressful as I thought it may be going in. Thanks to my soon to be husband, his family, and our wonderful friends. I am updating things here on the site as best I can along the way. So again please bear with me and be sure to check back on the site again closer to the date! Please and thank you!! 🖤 Dawn Marie

They Met In Alaska

5/1/21

They matched on a dating app, then had their first date not long after. At one of Joe’s favorite spots, the Palmer Ale House. Joe was already there when Dawn arrived, he was standing at the bar when she said “Joe?” He turned and flashed her a BIG smile. They proceeded to chat in the beer garden for an hour or more before eventually going inside to order food. It took them forever to order because the conversation was just so natural. They stayed until closing, just talking, laughing, nibbling on the food…. Even then they didn’t want the date to end. Things were going so well. So they went for a walk to watch an Alaskan sunset so they could talk a little more. Neither of them were looking for anything serious at the time but when ya know ya know, right? Less than 6 months into the relationship, they were faced with a big decision. Joe got a promotion that would be a big step for his career and their future together. Dawn decided that she wasn’t willing to let this one go and took a HUGE leap. Driving from Alaska to PA to start a new chapter with this charming marine she was falling inlove with. 4 years later they are stronger then ever, and beyond thrilled to be sharing their special day with you.

Home Sweet Home

Last year Dawn and Joe had limited time to find a home to buy, as they could not renew their lease. They were so blessed when they found a 4 bedroom 2 bath in Pittston, PA. A self proclaimed spooky town no less. RIGHT up their alley. They felt at home instantly. The process getting them into said home was long, trying, and stressful to say the least. They rolled up their sleeves and even handled some of the home repairs themselves, so that they could close on the house faster and without issue. Since they moved in, in June of last year, they have continued to improve the home together in various ways. Restorations, landscaping, a new fence, and so much more. Making it a place they are proud to host with their friends and family.

Dried Flowers

Dawn saved various bouquets over the years that Joe has bought her. She made various decorations using those flowers. Including centerpieces for their tables. She also plans to have petals from the same flowers spread down the aisle at the ceremony.
