Maid of Honor
Tracy and I met through a Jeep organization, and became fast friends. Through challenges in our lives we grew closer to become "sisters from other misters." Tracy is the Ethel to my Lucy and the Lucy to my Ethel. Unfortunately, Ben and Tracy’s husband, Aaron, never know who will be whom as we keep our children and men on their toes. In all seriousness, I could not ask for a better, sweeter, and more giving friend to spend this day.
Best Man
Ashton’s talent for creating beautiful works of art including eyes makes us both feel he sees so much beyond the surface. As a young adult he works to bridge the gap between child and adult. We are thankful to have him stand with us on the biggest day for our family.
Bridesmaid
We shared the same graduate school course and first name. She was the first to Tyler, Texas, so she was dubbed Uno to my Deuce. Dawn was always the mother of our group and now gets to mother two beautiful girls of her own. Dawn and I moved to Houston at the same time and started our careers together. We now get to share our families. I love Dawn to pieces, and I am so thankful she was there when Ben proposed, and will also be standing with me when he and I say our vows.
Groomsman
As one of Billie and Ben's long-time friends, Jonathan demonstrates all the good qualities of being a husband and father. Jonathan and his family have been friends with the Harrell family for some time, and opened their arms immediately to Dawn. There is no denying how much they love Ben, and we are beyond thrilled to have him as a groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Our story began in graduate school the same night as Dawn Stuckey. We quickly became friends and there was not much trouble either of us could avoid when together, much to Dawn Stuckey’s chagrin. Tana taught me the value of the “buddy system” when in public places and how to be grateful for all we have. I love her to the moon and back, and I am honored to have her standing with me.
Groomsman
Big brother, Uncle Billie, Billiam. He goes by many names, but its undeniable what he means to the family. He and his family welcomed Dawn with open hearts and open arms. The love they have all shown has been immeasurable, and we are so happy to have Billie standing with us.
Bridesmaid
Jennifer helped make the Andrews family complete when she said yes to my brother, Shane. Jennifer is the sister I never had, and when she brought her daughter Paige into our family I became and aunt! I am honored Jennifer will stand with me as we support each other over the distance between Idaho and Texas.
Groomsman
Shawn is one of Ben's oldest friends. There is more history between them than either has let Dawn know. When Dawn and Shawn met the first time, Ben said "You two are exactly the same!" Our ceremony would not be the same without Shawn standing with Ben.
Flower Girl
Beautiful and sassy. Olivia makes us both proud everyday with her wit and humor. She rarely sits still, and she reminds Ben and I to never stop dreaming. We love you, Olivia Gayle, and we are so excited to help you grow into a beautiful, intelligent, and talented young woman.
Ring Bearer
He may be small in stature, but his heart is as big as the strongest man in the world. His competitiveness and smile come from his daddy and he never fails to bring light into a room. We are so proud to be your daddy and your Dawn. We love you, buddy!
Father of the Bride
His nickname is Mighty, and that is what he is to me. My mighty father who provided the opportunities for his children to see the world before finding their soulmates. He boasts being a grandfather to four children, and all the children are lucky to have him in their lives.
Mother of the Groom
As the guiding hand and matriarch of the Harrell family, Barbara never ceases to shower love onto her children and grand children. She is constant and caring. Nothing makes her happier than to see her children smile. Words cannot do justice to how much she is appreciated.
Mother of the Bride
Sandy never missed a day of our lives, and she continues to guide Shane and I through our parenting growth. She is the strongest person I know, and I could not have become successful without her as my role model. I lean on her now more than ever to help raise Ben's and my kids with respect and integrity the way she raised my Shane and me.
Officiant
Lyndon is a long-time friend of Ben’s from high school. As a retired member of the United States Marines, Lyndon helps raise his daughter, Avery, with his wife Amanda in Fort Worth, Texas. He and Amanda have both been great friends to Ben and I as our relationship has grown. We could not be more honored he would stand with us as our officiant.
Reader
Shane was my first friend as my younger brother. Growing up we learned how to work together and push each other to great things. We have learned to love an support each other without question. Without Shane, I would not have felt confident to finish my Doctorate degree, and I am honored to have him read the passages Ben and I have both chosen for the ceremony.
