Gulf Shores Public Beach
Gulf shores is about an hour drive away from Mobile, AL. There a shops in the area, a public beach, hotels, restaurants, and scenic views. This is a great place to relax with your toes in the sand.
Pensacola Beach
This beach is one of the Bride's favorite beaches and an hour from Mobile! As a local to Mobile, the bride spent much time with her family at the beach. Pensacola Beach has the white sand of Florida with a family atmosphere. Check out Flounder's for great food. This beach features restaurants, shops, hotels, resorts, and a great time.
Dauphin Island East End Public Beach
Dauphin Island brings the beach to Alabama! It is about a 30-40 minute drive from Mobile, AL. It is a smaller island and does not feature as many restaurants on the Island. There is a sea lab that is fun for all ages. Dauphin Island features movies on the beach every summer including, June 12th, 2026 (How to Train a Dragon) and June 13th 2026 (Night at the Museum). Please note there is a East and West End. Movie Night happens on the EAST end.
The Wharf
The wharf is about an hour from Mobile. It features a waterfront area with shops, a marina & restaurants, as well as rides & an amphitheater.
Cedar Point Pier - A Mobile County Park
Cedar Point Pier is a 1,700 foot long pier, free-for-this-year and has rod rentals plus a bait shop. It is about a 35 min drive from downtown Mobile.
Biloxi
Biloxi, MS, is a small beach town 45-minutes outside of Mobile that features a beach and a strip of Casinos including the Hard Rock Casino and hotel, and the Beau Rivage (a favorite of the Bride). The casinos are not just all play, but feature spas, hotels and restaurants including a half shell oyster house and the Sugar Factory.
Tanger Outlets Foley
Shop til' you drop at Tanger Outlets in Foley, AL. It is about 50 minutes outside of Mobile. This outlet features Kate Spade, Coach, Michael Kors, the Nike Factory, and so much more.
Eastern Shore Centre
This is a small shopping mall about 40 minutes outside of Mobile, AL which includes Dillard's, Old Navy, Starbucks, and more. It is located near Daphne/Spanish Fort which. It features many restaurants, fishing, hotels, and more.
Topgolf Mobile
Sprawling entertainment venue with a high-tech driving range & swanky lounge with drinks & games.
Dave & Buster's Mobile
Family-friendly chain offering a sports-bar-style setting for American food & arcade games.
Las Floriditas
Las Floriditas is a hidden gem in the RSA tower, Downtown Mobile. It is a Password-protected venue, located in a former bank, serving Cuban fare, live music and cocktails, while also featuring a vault where guests can sit. Please visit their facebook page for the password and website for dress code.
Lambert's Cafe
Folksy local chain located about 50 minutes outside of Mobile AL, with classic Southern-American fare & "throwed rolls.
Wintzell's Oyster House
This is the original Wintzell's Oyster House! Here they serve oysters, fried shrimp & other Gulf Coast seafood, plus happy hour.
Little Bird
This restaurant is Bride and Groom approved! You cannot go wrong with the cornbread and oysters! It is about a 25-30 minute drive from Downtown Mobile.
Mardi Gras Park/ Lemon Drop Festival
The 2026 Mobile Lemon Drop Festival takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 2pm-8PM at Mardi Gras Park in downtown Mobile. Tickets are $45 and include a souvenir martini cup and 10 free lemon drops, featuring over 15 flavors, food trucks, DJs, and live entertainment
