From the trailhead, the 2 mile descent to the bottom of the canyon will take about 40 minutes, where Deep Creek and it's adjacent hot spring pools are located, with 5 pools located in the rocky cliffs and another along the bank. There is a natural drinking water source you can fill up at, located at the lowest pool, fed by it's own source and drains out of a copper pipe. Cool it off in the creek to drink later. At the springs, clothing is optional, so if nudity offends you you may want to choose another hike. This hike is kid-friendly, but again, there is nudity at the pools that may influence your decision to bring kids.

Heart Rock Waterfall, which is also known as Seely Creek Falls, is located in Crestline, CA, at the end of a roughly two-mile roundtrip hike. The waterfall is beautiful as it drops around 25 feet; however, the true draw of this hike is the fact that the waterfall has an almost perfect cut out of a heart right alongside it. The heart itself looks small in the photos, but could easily hold two adults in each of its halves.
