FAQs

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place?

Answer

No, the ceremony will be held out at Capetown on the bride's family property. This is a very special area that she absolutely adores and feels so blessed to share with you all. The road from the town of Ferndale out to Capetown is a very winding road but the views are unmatched. It is about a 45 minute drive back into town to the reception site. The reception will be held at The Bluff, a beautiful barn located in the bluffs of Ferndale.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 2:30pm. There will be some food, drinks, and live music out at the site before the wedding starts. The reception will start around 4:00pm with a cocktail hour.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

Out at the ceremony site there will be parking down at the bottom of the house. There will be side by sides taking guests up the hill to the seating area. At the reception site there will be parking in a big gravel lot. If you are staying at the casino you are welcome to leave your vehicle at the reception site overnight and take the complementary shuttle back to the casino. You will be responsible for picking your vehicle up by 10:30am on Sunday June 8.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love for our loved ones to get dressed up for our special day. Semi-formal attire is requested. The weather gets windy and cooler at night being right on the coast so bring a jacket! Also, the ceremony will be held in grass, so stilettos can stay at home this time.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! There is a block of rooms at the Bear River Casino in Loleta, Ca. When booking a room call the front desk at (707) 733-9644 and provide our wedding code: M060725.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We will be including an RSVP card within the invitation for you to mail back to us! There will already be postage on the card, so all you have to do is fill it out and drop it by the post office before the 12th of April.

Question

What if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We have chosen an RSVP date that gives us enough time to provide our vendors and venue with an exact head count by their given date. We will send out invitations a bit early to give you plenty of time to make arrangements.

Question

Can I bring a date? Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to limited capacity we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

Question

If I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! The bride totally understands needing a special diet. If you have a food allergy or any concerns please reach out to the bride or groom.
