Question

I am flying in. Will I need to rent a car?

Answer

We tried to select a venue location that does not absolutely require you to rent a car. Although having a car is the easiest way to get around town, there are several public transit options available. The MAX Red Line light rail is a great option for transportation from the PDX airport. Portland has many bus options to get you from the light rail to wherever you are staying. The 75 and 20 bus lines are good options for transportation to the wedding venue without a car. As in many major cities post-pandemic, there are sadly more frequent car break-ins in Portland. We recommend you do not leave anything (including empty bags) visible in your car.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have decided for our event to be an adult only occasion outside of children in our immediate family. Please let the bride or groom know if you need any recommendations for a babysitter in the area.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire suggestion: semi-formal or garden party (ex- cocktail dress or sundress or suit or slacks/chinos with button up), but please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable/confident!

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Ample free street parking is available around Laurelhurst Park, but carpooling is encouraged. Short-term parking/loading is available in front of the Club. The Club does not have off-street parking.
