What is the dress code?
Answer
The welcome party is dressy casual. For women, this can mean dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or a pantsuit. For men, this can mean dark jeans or slacks, jacket optional, tie not required. The wedding ceremony and reception dress code is cocktail. For women, this means tea-length, knee-length, or midi dress. For men, this means a suit with tie recommended. The ceremony will be held on grass so please choose your footwear accordingly. Average highs in Austin this time of year are 90 degrees and average lows are 70 degrees.

Is there parking at the welcome party?
Answer
There is not parking at the welcome party, but hotel valet service will be available.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at Barr Mansion. We will also be providing shuttle service from the two preferred hotels.

Is transportation provided to/from the hotels to the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes, complimentary shuttles will be provided from the following two preferred hotels to/from the wedding ceremony/reception. Austin Proper 600 W 2nd St Austin, TX 78701 Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin 721 Congress Avenue Austin, TX 78701 The shuttles will leave promptly at 5:15 and will have onsite coordinators at both locations to assist with loading Return shuttles will drop off at both preferred hotels Early departure: 9:00pm Late departure: 11:15pm

Is transportation provided to/from the welcome party?
Answer
No, transportation is not provided to and from the welcome party. Guests are encouraged to Uber, and valet parking is also available at Austin Proper Hotel.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
You may only bring a plus one if your save the date and formal invitation includes "and guest".

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outdoors on grass. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors as well, and dinner and dancing will be held indoors. In case of inclement weather ceremony/cocktail hour will be moved indoors and umbrellas will be provided to navigate the grounds.
