Lake Guntersville is Sydney's home town. The wedding will take place at the Lumpkin House in Albertville, Alabama, the town next door. Guntersville and Albertville are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Huntsville International Airport or 1 hour and 30 minutes from Birmingham International Airport.
It would be very convenient to stay in Guntersville or Albertville for the wedding.
Guntersville is located on a large, beautiful lake and has a small, charming downtown with shops and restaurants.
Albertville is not as scenic because it's not on the lake but it has a small downtown as well as lots of stores on its main road 431.
You could also stay in Huntsville, which is a much bigger city with more options for lodging and dining.
