Bridesmaid
AKA Katefish. Katelin is my “double cousin” (it’s a long story) but we grew up more like sisters. Our parents used to dress us up as twins, double the trouble is an understatement. And yes, this picture is from 1996
Groomsmen
Chris and Scott are David’s two older brothers. Personally speaking, I couldn’t ask for better brother-in-laws to have, not to mention my bonus sister-in-law Rachel! Growing up 5 and 6 years apart, David was generally the “lame little brother.” We have grown since then and pick on Dad instead.
Bridesmaid
EMILAAAAY! Sydney met Emily during our first year of college and we became besties overnight. Spending almost everyday together back in college and being next door neighbors in Raleigh, Emily is like a sister to me (despite the fact that she drinks Fireball) Also she’s a Canes fan, did you guys know that?
Bridesmaid
Kelsi was almost able to take groomswoman title for how tight knit her and David are. Luckily, her friendship with Sydney has a few more years under the belt. From besties in college running around on ‘mischief night’ to being basically next door neighbors while living in NoVA. Kelsi has been a best friend to the both of us.
Bridesmaid & Groomsman
Melina and Tyler take the honor of being there for when David popped the question when we traveled to Greece and Barcelona together. Sydney and Melina have been best friends since college and as soon as Tyler came in the picture we all became one big happy coupled family. We love to visit them in New York, if only to play with their Frenchie, Penelope (don’t tell them that I said that)
Groomsmen
No, despite what you might hear, Quack and Demers are not a couple. Just a pair of long term male best friends who hangout a lot… I can see where you might be confused. Quack, Demers and David met in their fraternity at JMU and continued their friendship love triangle throughout the years. We take turns visiting each other in our respective cities (Denver or Austin or Raleigh)
Bridesmaid & Groomsmen
Although Joe might date back to the JMU days, Madison is why we keep him around now. They are our closest friends in Raleigh. We love hanging out, drinking really expensive and classy beers (Miller Lite) and watching sports (while Sydney stares at her phone the whole time and complains). They are pretty cool.
Bridesmaid
Shannon worked at the same animal hospital as Sydney when we first moved to Raleigh. I instantly knew we were going to be friends. What I didn’t know is that we would also be roommates for 2 years and share our cat Joey together. Our favorite pastime is watching scary movies and eating our weight in sushi.
Bridesmaid & Groomsman
While Sydney has shared great memories from high school and college, its nothing compared to all the fun beach trips, birthday weekends and a 2.5-week-long-stay-during-a-global-pandemic memories that we share today. Allen and Scar recently moved to Charlotte and we love having them so close!
Bridesmaid
Rachel just might be the reason we are even together. She was there when David and Sydney first meet during our serving days, and she had no problem being our third wheel as long as she had her “boyfriend” Bentley 🐶 Catch her out on the dance floor when the song “Roses” by the Chainsmokers comes on.
Groomsman
Corey is David’s childhood best friend as you can tell for this adorable picture. When David switched schools in the 5th grade Corey was the only person he new at the new school. Moving 1 block away, they hung out all the time cruising around town on their sweet gas powered scooters. Eventually they went on to both attend college at JMU.
Ring Bearer 🐻 💍 & Flower Girl 🐝 🌸
You guys didn’t really think we would leave our dogs out of our wedding did you? Just wait until you see how cute their outfits will be!
