Please RSVP by April 1st 2023 (at the latest). Don’t make me track you down.
We reserved a block at the Ballest in downtown Wilmington, about a 10 minute walk to the venue. The Ballest will fill up prior to the date so please reserve a room as soon as possible. You are also welcome to look at other options such as airbnbs or other hotels. Please head to the Travel page for more information on booking at The Ballest
If your invitation says “and guest” then we have allotted you a plus one for the wedding. If it doesn’t, bring your dancing shoes and make some new friends!
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy their evening (and party appropriately). We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
Because the hotels we recommend are within a 10 minute walk of our venue we have NOT hired for guest transportation. So remember that for your stumbled walk back home. Please check out the Things To Do page for information about the River Walk which will provide a beautiful scenic walk to and from the venue. If you have issues with this please let us know ahead of time we would be happy to help book Ubers/Cabs
Although the venue doesn’t have its own private parking lot there is a pay-to-park or street parking. Street Parking: - There are metered spaces throughout downtown. Fee is $1.25 per hour, enforced Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am until 6:30pm - Metered and street parking fees are not enforced on Sundays.
Yes! Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions as soon as possible so we can work with the caterer… otherwise you might starve and that would be a bummer.
Feel free to reach out to us at any point if you have any questions or concerns!
