Not quite. You can take your car across on the car-ferry, but the ferry IS THE ONLY way to get to the island. See their website for rates: http://www.wisferry.com/
Ferries to the island typically run on the 15 and 45s of the hour. Ferries off island run on the top of the hour and the 30s. On Friday, August 30th the late night ferries are as follows: 6:45pm 7:45pm 8:15pm 9:15pm For the full schedule, please see https://wisferry.com/
Yes. The Island is about 5 miles x 6 miles and you'll need a car to get around. You can take your car across on the ferry. 1 car per group should be sufficient; there's overnight parking at the ferry dock if you'd like to coordinate with others and minimize the number of cars coming across.
The Island has a variety of small hotels, bed & breakfasts, and house rentals, as well as camping. Take a look at our travel section for more information and a list of places to consider. Please note! If you stay off Island, you will not be able to stay for the entire reception. The last ferry to the mainland leaves the Island at 7:30pm.
Cocktail/wedding attire but keep the shoes practical!! The wedding will be outdoors on a lawn so please do not wear heels. Bring a sweater or light jacket as the temperature can drop quite a bit after sunset.
Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport: https://www.flygrb.com/. The Island is about a 2 hour drive from Green Bay.
