What do I wear?

Answer

California Casual (or office casual). Preferably no jeans (but no stress if you absolutely want to wear them). Most importantly: Plan on wearing layers, because even if it's warm during the day, San Francisco tends to get chilly at night. Particularly after 5pm.

Do I need a car to get around?

Answer

Honestly, it's not necessary. Just download Lyft or Uber, and you should be able to get a ride anywhere in the city. It's less of a hassle than trying to find parking. If you do rent a car or want to drive, be mindful of the street parking rules in the city. SF can be hectic and strict with their parking rules.

I'm driving, can I make a phone call or text my client really quick?

NO. It's illegal in California. DON'T TEXT AND DRIVE. You must use a hands-free device for making phone calls. I'm looking at you Cindy & Capon…
